What or who is the inspiration behind our startup?
Tell us why your business is the best thing since sliced bread?
The only best thing since sliced bread, is toasted crunchy bread and better if it comes with cheese, but in terms of business we just believe Sanderson’s is a combination of all the years of experience the team have, put together in one place. A very balanced menu where zero wastage is key, and where the service understand the needs of the customers and brings personality to it.
Who is your hero in the restaurant business – the one you aspire to be?
I don’t have a particular hero but I have always been a great fan of all the entrepreneurs and Chefs that never gave up, no matter the circumstances, because they knew what they were working on was special and in the end successful.
What is your favorite dish on the menu? And why?
I would say any of the wraps because we are trying to do something different with the wrap, which is made from the pulp of the juices we serve in the menu and from the different nuts
What lessons have you learned along the way that you would like to share with other FoodPreneurs?
Never give up, make sure you have done your research and know your goals. Make sure you surround yourself with people that have experience in the business to help you create the foundation, never stop believing in your product if you think it has value and most important, hire a great team that will complement you and cover your weaknesses.
